Emma was the daughter of the late Elijah and Ann (Howell) Hodge. She married Henry Worrall on October 20, 1900 in Greenville, Mercer County, Pennsylvania.

Dr. Emma H. Worrall
Word has been received in Franklin, Dr. Emma Hodge Worrall, 79, staff member of the Polk State School for 20 years, died at 5:50 p.m. Saturday in the Norwood Rest Home, Warren, O.
Her career, devoted to the services of humanity, spanned more than half a century of medical service.
As a young woman, she became a medical missionary, spending 20 years in India and Arabia. Returning to America, she went into private practice in Greenville, Pulaski and New Wilmington for 12 years before entering the staff of the Polk State School.
At the time of her death her residence was 82 South Mercer Street, Greenville. She was born in Greenville Aug. 18, 1872, the duaghter of E.W. and Ann Elizabeth Howell Hodge.
Dr. Worrall attended Greenville schools and graduated from Thiel College, Greenville, before entering Woman's Medical College, New York City. She graduated and on Oct. 20, 1900 was united in marriage to Dr. H. R. L. Worrall. Her husband died in 1930.
She was a lifelong member of the Greenville First Methodist church and belonged to the Venango County Medical Society and American Medical Society.
Surviving are four children, Dr. Edith Sechler, a staff member of the Polk State School; Capt. Charles H. Worrall, with the U.S. Air Force in Frankfurt, On-The-Main, Germany; Dr. John R. Worrall, former principal of the Fourteenth Street School here, now principal of the Woodbury, N.J., High School, and Miss Helen Worrall of Greenville.
Six grandchildren also survive along with a sister, Elizabeth Hodge, Greenville; three stepbrothers, Thomas and Charles of Greenville, and Garfield, of Grove City; and a stepsister, Mary Stough, of Phoenix, Ariz.
The body was removed to the Osborne and Son Funeral Home, Greenville, where services will be held at 1:30 p.m. Tuesday. Rev. Wendell Minhigh will officiate and interment will be in the Shenango Valley Cemetery.
