Mary Anna Marie Kessler, also from Lancaster County, PA married Jacob Joseph Eversole 1784. They had 9 children.
Jacob built a one-room cabin with a dirt floor in 1789, Perry Co KY. And in 1800 he added on to the cabin, converting it into a large two-story house that featured a "dog trot" in the middle with living quarters on one side and kitchen and work area on the other. It still stands, and is owned by his descendants to this day and is one of the oldest land marks in Kentucky.
Mary was the 4th great grandmother of Lee Smith from Clay Co KY. On his mother Mary Jane Davis Smith's side of the family. And his Dad Clyde Smith's side of the family. And the 5th Great Grandmother of our children Staci and Todd Smith.
Two of their children Peter and Mary Polly went on to be their grandparents, also.
