Richard J. Dufphey passed away at his home in Hailey, October 2, 1935 after an illness of 14 weeks. He is survived by his wife, Lillian V. Dufphey and his son, Guy Dufphey of Hailey.
Mr. Dufphey was born in Grayson county, Virginia, August 11, 1862. After his father's death he moved with his mother and sister to Battle Creek, Nebraska. There in 1892 he was married to Lillian Virginia Phipps. The couple came to Blaine county about 39 years ago and have since made this their home.
Miss Augusta T. Jackley conducted funeral services Friday afternoon at the Community church. Pall bearers were Charles J. Bradley, O.W. Hurt, A.T. Glenn, William Rember, G.C. Sullivan and William S. Williams. There was beautiful music and a wealth of flowers.
