Obituary - Lola Virvel Ferguson Gagon Blanchard, age 89, died August 6, 1996.
She was born April 27, 1907 in Victor, Idaho to John Singleton and Robina Campbell Ferguson.
She married Irvin Ira Gagon; later divorced.
Married William Henry Blanchard in 1940; he later died.
Virvel moved to the Uintah Basin in 1917. She loved quilting, reading -especially the scriptures, genealogy, and children, whom she loved to teach in Primary. She was a good homemaker, liked to can, and sing.
She is survived by three sons, Amos Gagon, Roosevelt; Virlen Gagon, Vallejo, Calif; and William Gene Blanchard, Provo; stepson, Lester Blanchard, Hurricane; stepdaughter, Lila Daly, Ogden; 32 grandchildren, 32 great-grandchildren and several great-great-grandchildren; brothers, Leonard Ferguson, Roosevelt; Gene Ferguson, Salt Lkae City. She was preceded in death by two sons, Gene L. and Irvin Dale, two stepsons, one stepdaughter, seven brothers and one sister.
Funeral, Friday 11 a.m. at the Roosevelt LDS First Ward Chapel. Friends may call at the Hullinger-Olpin Mortuary, Thursday from 7-8 p.m. and Friday at the church, one hour prior to the service. Burial, Roosevelt Memorial Park.
