George Lee Ellison, 83, of Lithia Springs, passed away, Sunday, August 2, 2009. He was born January 17, 1926 in Fulton County to the late G. L. and Willie Boggus Ellison. He was a Veteran of the United States Army. He worked as a mechanic for Hix Green Buick.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Lillian Johns Ellison, his step-father, Mark Turner, one brother and one sister.

He is survived by his son and daughter in law, Tim and Gina Ellison of Temple, granddaughter Elizabeth Ellison, grandson Brent Ellison, and great granddaughter Hannah Ellison.

Graveside Services will be held Tuesday, August 4, 2009 at 1:00 pm at Mozley Memorial Gardens, Lithia Springs, GA. The family will receive friends Tuesday, August 4, 2009 from 11-12 noon at Hightower's Memorial Chapel.
