James R. Clough, Jr., 81, of 257 Lilleston Avenue, died Sunday, August 14, 1994 at his residence.
A native of Paris, he was a son of the late J.R. and Susie Smith Clough. He was the widower of Maryreen Berry Clough.
Mr. Clough worked for the City of Paris at the Water Plant Electric Plant and retired as the Head of the Paris Sewage Treatment Plant.
He was a veteran of the U.S. Army, having served in World War II.
Survivors are a son, James R. "Jamie" Clough, III, Paris; two daughters, Mrs. Steve "Hazel Jean" Courtney, Lexington and Jessie Marie Jones; two brothers, Earl Clough and Ora Clough, Paris; and a sister, Mrs. William B. "Margaret" Tobin, Cynthiana; seven grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren and several nieces, nephews and cousins.
Funeral services will be conducted at 11:00 a.m. Friday at the Lusk-McFarland Funeral Home by the Rev. Julian Simpson. Burial will be in the Paris cemetery.
Casket bearers will be Chris Courtney, Peter F. Clough, James Lee Clough, Adam Murphy, William Tobin III and Troy McKitrick.
Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday at the Lusk-McFarland Funeral Home.
Contributions are suggested to the Hospice of the Bluegrass or the First Methodist Church.
