Eliza Elizabeth Hitsman was the oldest daughter of William and Margaret Hitsman. She was married three times.
Her first husband was Williard Crosier to whom she was married circa 1860. To this union one child was born, Frank Crosier. When the Civil War broke out, Williard Crosier enlisted in the New York Volunteer Infantry. He was killed in the war and buried in an unknown grave in the state of Vermont.
In 1867 Eliza Hitsman Crosier married Soloman Edwards (b. 1812 in New York) and moved to Attica, Michigan. To this union three children were born.

Her third husband was a Mr. Brockman.
Eliza died at the home of an adopted son, James Porters, in Attica, Michigan.
