Mrs. Elizabeth Duffin of Lynch, Nebr., an aunt of G.L.D. Smith of Morrison, and a former local resident, died there on Tuesday, according to word received here. The body will be shipped to Morrison and a short service at the grave in Grove Hill cemetery will be conducted by Rev. C.H. Becker.
Elizabeth Donaldson was born in Morrison and was married to the late Dr. W.L. Duffin. They moved away from the Morrison vicinity about 50 years ago, but Mrs. Duffin had been a frequent visitor in this vicinity. She is survived by a son Harold of Dubuque, Ia., and a daughter, Mrs. Francis Shrunk of Lynch, Nebr.
Married Dr. William Lorell Duffin on April 24, 1879.

~note: She was the 2nd wife of Dr. William L. Duffin, and the sister of his first wife - Eva A. Donaldson - who died in 1878. Dr. & Mrs. Donaldson lived in Guttenberg, Clayton county, Iowa, where he practiced medicine with his brother Dr. Charles Duffin for many years.
