Margaret Bennett
Margaret A. Bennett, 72, of Parma, died Wednesday, Jan. 2, 1991, at the Caldwell hospital of natural causes. Memorial services will be held at 3 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 5, at the Kirkpatrick Memorial Presbyterian Church, Parma, with the Rev. Kirk Kestler officiating. Private family burial will be in the Roswell Cemetery, Roswell. Services are under the direction of Dakan Funeral Chapel, Caldwell.
Mrs. Bennett was born July 29, 1918, at Roswell, Idaho, the daughter Roy W. Allen and Ruth Campbell Allen Cloninger. She was raised in the Boise and Parma areas. She graduated from Roswell High School and later graduated from St. Luke's School of Nursing as a Registered Nurse. She married Ralph J. Bennett Sept. 9, 1941, at Roswell. Ralph died Feb. 4, 1979. She had worked as the director of nurses at the Malheur Memorial Hospital at Nyssa, Ore., until her retirement in 1983.
Mrs. Bennett is survived by three daughters, Jane L. Myers of Parma, Carol A. Jensen of San Marcos, Calif., and Susan M. Larsen of Davis, Calif.; a son, David R. Bennett of Parma; her brother, Norris D. Allen of Meridian; nine grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
She was also preceded in death by her parents and a grandson.
