Esther (Bechtel) Allshouse, 93, of Armstrong County Health Center, formerly of 254 Union Way, Kittanning, died Tuesday, Dec. 25, 1990 at Armstrong County Health Center. She was born March 10, 1897, in Elk County, Pa. to John and Emmoline (Snyder) Bechtel. Mrs. Allshouse was a member of Wilson Avenue Church of God in Kittanning. Survivors include five sons, Lawson Bowser of Middlesex, Pa., Owen Bowser of Kittanning, James. Robert Bowser of Philadelphia, Charlie Lee Bowser of Portland, Ore. and Kenneth Allshouse of New Bethlehem; three daughters, Mrs. Fanny Striker of Florida, Mrs. Velda Schaul of Blairsville and Mrs. Edith Culver of Warren, Ohio; three step-daughters, Mrs. Ethel Raymer of Ohio, Mrs. Betty Anthony of Warren, Ohio and Mrs. Mildred Mansfield of Romulus, Mich.; a step-son, Fred Allshouse of Warren, Ohio and a number of grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her first husband, James Louis Bowser, in 1935 and her second husband, Herman L. Allshouse, in 1972. ALLSHOUSE — Friends of Esther (Bechtel) Allshouse, 93, of Armstrong County Health Center, formerly of 254 Union Way, Kittanning, who died Tuesday, Dec. 25, 1990, will be received from 4 to 9 p.m. Friday at Kennedy Funeral Home in Kittanning, where funeral services will be held Saturday at 1 p.m., with the Rev. Kenneth N. Dugger, pastor of Wilson Avenue Church of God, officiating. Burial will follow in Kittanning Cemetery. Arrangements by Kennedy.
