George Allen Tims, 92,of Magnolia, TX formerly of Bossier City, LA born on December 5, 1917, he passed on April 23, 2010. George will join his loving wife, Mary F. DeLoach Tims, his mother and father Josie Linton Tims and Sidney Allen Tims, sisters, Dennie Harrell, Fronie Emory, Bargie Smith, Toy Smith and his much loved brother, Roy Tims, grandson, Richard Levy Hennesy III, who are waiting with Jesus for him. He is survived by his son, Gary Allen Tims, his daughter and son-in-law, Deeva and Rick Hennesy, all of Magnolia, TX. 3 grandchildren, Stephen Hennesy and Kaylee Hennesy of Magnolia, TX and Michael Hennesy of Austin, TX. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews and wonderful friends, Royce and Pam Langford. George two brother-in-laws, Robert and Maxine DeLoach of Spring, TX and Donald DeLoach of Bangkok, Thailand. Daddy was a beloved Salvation Army Bell Ringer at the Tomball, TX WalMart for many years. Since the time he was in World War II working on the railway, he met some people from the Salvation Army. The Salvation Army was so nice to him and his fellow soldiers and he made a personal commitment to give back to them in any way he could. He would encourage everyone to support the Salvation Army, he has seen first-hand what they do to help people in the community. Viewing will be Wednesday, 4/28 at Hill Crest Funeral Home from 4:00 to 8:00pm. The Funeral will be Thursday, 4/29 at 2:00pm in Haughton, LA at the Hill Crest Funeral Home.
