Mrs. Minnie Story Bramwell, 74, Long Beach, Cal., died July 9 at her home.
She was a native of Day, Mich., and had lived in Long Beach since 1942, coming from Wilmington, Cal., where she had resided several years.
As a child she moved to Dallas county with her parents, Mr. & Mrs. Oliver P. Story, and her sister, Mrs. Nena Story Wimberly. There she resided the greater part of her life.
Preceding her in death were her husband, Joe Bramwell; two daughters, Doris Bramwell and Mrs. Thelma Williams, and a son, Winston Bramwell, who is presumed dead.
Surviving are three daughters, Mrs. Nadine Howard, Bell, Cal., Mrs. Lucile Sweaney, Arlington, Cal., and Mrs. Kathleen Sweaney, Taft, Cal.; two sons, Emil Bramwell, Taft, and Kenneth Bramwell, El Dorado, Kan., and 25 grandchildren, two of whom are Mrs. Gladys Bradley, Springfield, and Mrs. Geraldine Sturdevant, Buffalo, and seven great-grandchildren.
Services were held July 12 in a funeral chapel.
Rev. Quentin P. Bogers of East Long Beach Methodist church officiated. Interment was in Forest Lawn Memorial park, Glendale. (Buffalo Reflex 7/28/1949)
