The Louisa Blues were drilling on the court green at Louisa when the telegram from Governor Letcher was received requesting that the company report at once for duty. The company entrained and were mustered into service at Harper's Ferry, becoming Company "D", Thirteenth Virginia Infantry. The roster of the company, taken from the photostatic copies of the original, is given.
