"Death of Mrs. Louise Ahlemeyer.
At the home of her daughter, Mrs. Wm. H. Hilgenkamp, Mrs. Louise Ahlemeyer passed away at noon Monday, Sept 1, the summons coming without warning while drinking coffee. She was 76 yrs old, and had resided here for the past 16 yrs.
The funeral is being held from the German Lutheran church (Thurs.) afternoon. Interment in the cemetery near the church.
Mrs. Ahlemeyer had been ailing for some time, her trouble being her heart, but her friends did not look for the end so soon, and her sudden death came as a severe shock to them all."
