Harold Jackson Curry, 90, of Duncan, died Friday, April 23, 2010, in Lawton.

Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday, April 27, 2010, at Highland Park Baptist Church in Duncan, officiated by the Rev. Winston Curtis. Interment will follow in Duncan Cemetery under the direction of Don Grantham Funeral Home.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home Monday 5:30 to 7:30 p.m.

Harold was born February 20, 1920, in Altus, the son of Ernest and Leona Annie (Campbell) Curry. He married Alice Louise Ward August 11, 1945 in Brooklyn, New York. She preceded him in death Oct. 3, 2007.

He was a verteran of World War II, serving in the U.S. Navy. He retired from Halliburton in 1979, working in the Mechanical Research Dept. as a pump tester.

He was a member of Highland Park Baptist Church for 55 years.

Survivors include a daughter, Linda Mueller and husband Donald, and a son Ronnie Curry and wife Kimberlie of Yukon, a sister Mary Jean Lewis, and husband James, of Gainesville, Texas., eight grandchildren, Michael Mueller, Susan Hampton, David Bryan Mitchell, Lara Mitchell, Ryan Curry, Kandra England, Michael McIntyre and Maxwell McIntyre and six great-grandchildren.

Pallbearers will be Deacons of Highland Park Baptist Church.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to Highland Park Baptist Church; 1002 S. 10th St. Duncan, Ok. 73533.
