Annie Mae "Big Annie" Worthy Bolding, 98, died Monday, April 12, 2010, at the Gilmore Memorial Regional Medical Center in Amory. Born Nov. 15, 1911, in the Liberty community of Monroe County, she was the daughter of the late James H. and Ellen Taylor Worthy. She was a homemaker and a member of the First United Methodist Church in Amory. She was the widow of John Thomas Bolding, whom she married in 1934. She lived in Amory for 76 years. She was a former employee of G&Y Drugs, Coleman's Barbeque, Hardee's and Wendy's, where she worked for almost 10 years. She enjoyed meeting and greeting people, dancing, watching country music on television, and playing Rook.

Services will be at 4 p.m. today at the E.E. Pickle Funeral Home Chapel in Amory with Rev. Warren Coile and Bro. Tommy Whaley officiating. Burial will be in the Masonic Cemetery.

Survivors include two daughters, Gloria Vernon (Stanley) of Amory and Linda Hilliard of Springfield, Mo.; a stepdaughter, Robbie Merle Bolding Stephens of Amory; five grandchildren, Joel Montet (Tonia), Tina Monaghan, Johnny Hilliard (Debbie), Joseph Hilliard and Jerry Hilliard (Misty); six great-grandchildren, John Thomas and Kyle Montet, Tori Monaghan, Drake McNeese, and Katlin and Amory Hilliard; and many nieces, nephews and stepgrandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, her parents, six brothers and three sisters.

Pallbearers will be Johnny Clay Hilliard, Joseph Thomas Hilliard, Jerry Dwayne Hilliard, Russell Joel Montet, Justin Drake McNeese and Dalton Kyle Montet. Honorary pallbearers will be Joe McGonagill, Buford Monaghan, Tommy Wilkerson, Bobby Joe Blake, Tommy Nelson, Danny Randolph, Eugene Johnson, Steve Miller and Bill Bacot.

Visitation will continue until service time today at the funeral home.
