Mrs. Elizabeth Boedicker Huhmann, 86, widow of Frank Huhmann died Oct. 13, 1955, in the St. Joseph's home for the aged in Jefferson City. Funeral services were held Saturday, Oct. 15, 1955, at 10 a.m. in the St. Lawrence Catholic Church. Interment was in the church cemetery with the Rev. Jerome Besteen officiating. Arrangements were in charge of Hedges Funeral Home Service. Casket bearers were Herman, Bill, Fred, Ben Huhmann and William Breneke. Mrs. Huhmann was born Dec. 2, 1868 in St. Elizabeth community. She spent her entire life in the St. Elizabeth area except for the past four years at Jefferson City. She was a member of the St. Lawrence Catholic Church and the St. Ann's Sodality. She is survived by three sons; Leo Huhman of Jefferson City, Emil Huhman of West Point, NE and Bruno Huhman of Dow, IA, ; two daughters; Miss Sophia Huhmann and Agnes Schaefer both of St. Louis, one half-sister, Theresa Doerhoff and a half-brother Bill Doerhoff both of Jefferson City. Her husband preceded her in death a number of years ago. Twenty grandchildren and ten great-grandchildren.
