ARLINGTON WOMAN, 92, DIED AT HER HOME TUESDAY
Mrs. Ida C. Hilgenkamp, 92-year-old Arlington woman, died at her home in Arlington Tuesday morning, August 8th. She had been in failing health for a number of months.
Mrs. Hilgenkamp was the widow of the late William Hilgenkamp who died in 1960. She had lived in the Arlington area most of her life, having been born at Beaufort, Missouri and moving to Washington County at an early age. During her active years, Mr. and Mrs. Hilgenkamp farmed in the area of the St. Paul’s Lutheran Church north of Arlington.
She is survived by three sons. They are Edwin and Clarence Hilgenkamp, both of Arlington and Leslie Hilgenkamp, of Colon, Nebraska. There are two daughters, Mrs. Clarence Kassebaum, of Arlington and Miss Etheleen Hilgenkamp of Englewood, Colorado. There are nine grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren.
Funeral service will be held tomorrow (Friday) at 2:00 p.m. at St. Paul’s Lutheran Church north of Arlington with the Rev. Don Gesterling conducting the service. Interment under the direction of Reckmeyer Funeral Home, will be made in the Arlington cemetery.
