The regiment served in General J.G. Walker's and Cooke's Brigade and was active in various conflicts of Army of Northern Virginia from the Seven Days' Battles to Fredericksburg. McAlister; and Majors Neill M. McNeill, Rush J. Mitchell, and Richard M. Norment.
