Mrs. McElhiney Rites Will Be Held Tuesday
Christian Science services for Mrs. Marguerite Martin McElhiney, who died Sunday afternoon at the home of her brother, Jack Martin, in Colonia Solona, are scheduled for 2 p.m. Tuesday at the Parker mortuary, with private interment following in Evergreen cemetery.
Mrs. McElhiney, a native Tucsonian, was the daughter of Col. and Mrs. John H. martin, Arizona pioneers. She attended the University of Arizona and Miss Ely's school for girls in New York. During World War I, Mrs. McElhiney served as a yoeman in the Navy, acting as a censor in the New York City cable office. A member of the First Church of Christ of Christ Scientist, she was a member of the board of directors for several years.
The family requested that no flowers be sent.
