MISS EMMA MELINDA SINGER, aged 81 years, died Wednesday at the home of her nephew, Harry O. Singer, Waynesboro, Route 3.
She had been in ill health six months.
She was born near Jacob's Church, Washington county, the daughter of Andrew and Barbara (Holsinger) Singer. She lived her entire life in that vicinity with the exception of a few years in Waynesboro. She had made her home with her nephew for the last 20 years.
Miss Singer was a member of the First Brethren. Church.
Surviving are a brother, Harvey, of Greencastle, Route 3, and a sister, Mrs. Ida Stull of Waynesboro.
The funeral will be held at 10:36 a.m. Saturday at the First Brethren Church, services in charge ot the Rev. R. D. Crees. Burial will be made in Green Hill cemetery.
