LDS reports she died "before" December 22,1934-according to Kerry Girolamo-Sarah Smart possibly died around 1921 according to an interview with a daughter of Lee Roy Smart. Sarah appears on the 1920 US Federal Census for Gonzales County, Texas, USA and George Franklin Fisher's Texas Death Certificate from 1934 states he died as a widow so that is the logic behind the LDS report. George Fisher's death certificate also states he was interred in Leesville Cemetery. Since no death certificate has been found for Sarah Fisher to prove her place of burial, it is possible that George was buried next to Sarah. Several Fisher and Smart children are buried next to and nearby the possible grave area.
