EDWARD A. CURTISS
AUBURN - Edward A Curtiss, 61, of Auburn, died Wednesday in a Seattle Hospital.
Born Feb. 28, 1912, in Seattle, he had lived most of his life in the Auburn area except 24 years in Lewis County.
Mr. Curtiss had been a logger for 24 years and was employed by Taylor Logging Co. in Centralia until 1969.
He was a member of the Puyallup Eagles.
Survivors include the widow, Mary, at home; a daughter Mrs. Kenneth (Jane) Kuja, Auburn; a daughter-in-law, Mrs. Stephen (Lynn) Hunt, Centralia; two brothers Wilfred, Puyallup, and Robert, Federal Way; and five sisters, Mrs. Gertrude Beech and Mrs. Mary Robertson, both of Auburn; Mrs. Frances McCarty, Puyallup; and Mrs. Harry (Nona) Kuhn and Mrs. Melvin (Virginia) Petersen, both of Sumner.
Services will be Friday at 10 a.m. at the Price-Helton Funeral Chapel, Auburn. Graveside services will follow at 2 p.m. at Sunset Memorial Gardens, Chehalis, with Rev. Ron Rice officiating.
