Mr. Bill Van Every, age 64, of Lawrenceville, GA passed away suddenly on Thursday, August 27, 2009.
He is survived by his wife of 43 years, Mrs. Dianne Barke Van Every, Lawrenceville, GA; daughter and son-in-law, Michelle Van Every Tubbs and husband, Steve, Jasper, AL; son and daughter-in-law, Troy and Gina Jeffers Van Every, Gainesville, GA; grandsons, Austin Van Every and Nathan Van Every; aunts, Mrs. Rheba Dean King, Lagrange, GA and Mrs. Linda Mims-Clark, Lagrange, GA; first cousin and their daughter, Greg and Anne Marie King and Meredith, all of Macon, GA.
Mr. Van Every was born November 10, 1944 in Langdale, AL. He was a 1962 graduate of Escambia High School in Pensacola, FL and a 1966 graduate of Florida State University in Tallahassee, FL. Mr. Van Every was a retired owner, consultant, engineer and developer from Champion Software Solutions. He worked on NASA Apollo Mission where he wrote and developed programs.
He was a member of the Gwinnett Rotary Club for many years. Mr. Van Every was a member of Providence Church in Duluth, GA and was a former member of Hebron Baptist Church in Dacula, GA where he was a Sunday school teacher of the Willis-Van Every Sunday School Class. Bill and Dianne were Christian Marriage Counselors for the past 12 years.
Mr. Van Every loved the outdoors, hunting, fishing, hiking and biking. He loved spending time with his family and he will be greatly missed by all. He loved his Lord and his Word and is rejoicing with his Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.
Funeral services will be held on Sunday, August 30, 2009 at 3:00 p.m. in the Chapel of Flanigan Funeral Home with Rev. Ty Blackburn officiating. Interment will follow in Broadlawn Memorial Gardens in Buford, GA. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Saturday from 5-9pm.
