Littlefield Funeral set At Alazan
Funeral services for Robert P. Littlefield, 85, of 513 South Street, will be held Sunday afternoon, April 10, at 2:30 o'clock in the Alazan Church with internment in the Alazan Cemetery.
Officiating will be the Rev. M. A. Ervin, pastor of the Calvary Baptist Church, and the Rev. Bobby King, pastor of the Memorial Baptist Church. Mr. Littlefield died Friday night in City Memorial Hospital.
Born July 20, 1880, in Athens, Mr. Littlefield was the son of Joseph and Josephine Phillips Littlefield. He was a retired farmer, had lived in Nacogdoches County for 47 years, and was a member of the Baptist Church.
Mr. Littlefield and Lena Cantrell were married Oct. 7, 1907 and she survives him. Other survivors are three sons, Owen Littlefield of San Antonio, William Littlefield of Lufkin and Elmer Littlefield of Grand Prairie; six daughters, Mrs. J. M. Dennis, Mrs. Billy Charles Day, and Mrs. Gerald Partin, all of Nacogdoches, Mrs Gordie Prudhome of Shreveport, La., Mrs. A. A. Watson of Pasadena, and Mrs. Jack Frazer of New York, N.Y.; 24 grandchildren, and 13 great-grandchildren.
Grandsons will be pallbearers. George Partin will be in charge of the music. Cason Monk Funeral home will direct services.
