Son of Rachel Vickers and Israel Doan, Jr.(5), Israel, Sr.(4), Daniel(3), Daniel(2) Deacon John Doane(1). On May 15, 1787, Abraham and his cousin Levi were captured without a struggle in Chester Co., Pennsylvania and were ultimately condemned to death by State President Benjamin Franklin. They were executed by hanging on Smith's Island, Philadelphia, on Sept. 24, 1788.
