She was a daughter of the late Ross Lawton and Pearl Mauldin Lawton. Widow of Rufus "Doodle" Arnold.
She was retired from Jackson Mills after 30 years of service. She was a member of the Good Hope Baptist Church and of the Senior Citizens Quilting Group in Iva, SC.
In addition to her husband and parents she was preceded in death by three brothers, Arthur Lawton, Jake Lawton and Rob Lawton; three sisters, Rita Ferguson, Fannie Mae McBride and Cleo Craft and daughter-in-law, Patrica Ann "Patsy" Arnold.
