Capt. Anderson died in Marianna of typhoid malarial fever on June 29 1882.
He was born in Lebanon, Wilson County, TN May 1839 and was educated at Chapel Hill, N.C.
He moved to AR in 1864. He was a lawyer beginning his practice in 1868.
From his obit published in the Arkansas Evangel, Jan. 18, 1883. He was a Baptist having taugh a Sunday School class. He married a "Miss Mooney" in the fall of 1866 and they had 5 children, three of which preceded him in death.
