Funeral services were held July 23 at First Presbyterian Church in Blue Earth, with Reverend Michael Roys and Father John Ozbun officiating. Burial took place in Riverside Cemetery in Blue Earth.
Bud was born February 8, 1935 at Winnebago, Minnesota, the son of Herbert C. Zehm, Sr. and Alice M. (Stauffer) Zehm.
He was raised and educated in Faribault County, where he attended schools in both rural areas and Blue Earth.
Following school, Bud began farming on the George Paschke farm East of Blue Earth. He was married to Sharon Rode on June 1, 1957 in Blue Earth.
Joining the Army Active Reserves in 1957, Bud served in Missouri and California before returning home to continue farming the Paschke farm.
Al lifelong resident of Faribault County, Bud enjoyed farming, flower gardening, raising horses, cattle and dogs and visiting with family and many friends.
In the early 1900's, Bud semi-retired from farming and began working at Juba's Super Valu.
Bud is survived by his wife, Sharon Zehm of Blue Earth; daughters, Sharilyn (Mark) Willette of Delavan and Susan (Tim) Gudal of Bricelyn; granddaughters, Lindsay and Lauren Willette and Nichole Fuller; sisters, Roberta (Wayne) Sachs of Perham, Clarine (Manville) Wille of Tucson, Arizona, Joyce (Robert) Thompson of Littleton, Colorado and Christina (Dick) Jacobs of Prescott Valley, Arizona; mother-in-law, Eleanor Franklin of Elmore; and brother-in-law, Byron Smith of Sauk Rapids.
He is preceded in death by his parents, step-father and father-in-law.
