Betty L. Beaty, 75, died Saturday, September 6, 2003. Born November 30, 1927
in Pendleton, OR. A Tracy resident for 10 years, previously of Washington. A
homemaker, she attended Lakeside Chapel River Club and was a member of Lady's
Mission. She was also a Bingo Babe. She enjoyed crossword puzzles, reading,
crocheting and traveling, especially cruises. She enjoyed traveling to Mexico,
Las Vegas and she especially enjoyed her last cruise to the St. Lawrence River.
In August she went to her family reunion in Washington. She loved life and her
family and she will be greatly missed by all. Preceded in death by her husband
William R. Beaty in 1997. Survived by children Beverly Beaty of Las Vegas, Ronald
R. (and Nancy Beaty of Hawaii, Dianna Tangen of Arizona, Kenneth (and Lynda
Beaty of Newark, CA and Susan (and Tedd Romano of Crockett, CA; siblings Phyllis
Hansen and Chloe Palmer, both of Washington; 9 grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren.
Services: Saturday, September 13, 2003 at 1:00 p.m. at River Club Community
Center, 30000 Kasson Rd., Tracy. Visitation at Fry Memorial Chapel, 550 S. Central
Betty L. Arbogast Beaty, 75, of Tracy died Saturday at St. Joseph's Medical Center, Stockton.
Mrs. Beaty was a native of Pendleton, Ore. She lived in Tracy 10 years and previously lived in Washington. She was a homemaker. She was a member of Lakeside Chapel, the San Joaquin River Club and the Ladies' Mission. She enjoyed bingo, crossword puzzles, reading, crocheting and travel.
She is survived by her children, Beverly Beaty of Las Vegas, Ronald R. Beaty of Hawaii, Dianna Tangen of Arizona, Kenneth Beaty of Newark and Susan Romano of Crockett; sisters, Phyllis Hansen and Chloe Palmer, both of Washington; and nine grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, William R. Beaty.
A memorial service will be at 1 p.m. Saturday at the San Joaquin River Club Community Center. Private burial. Visitation from 1 to 7 p.m. Friday at Fry Memorial Chapel.
Remembrances may be made to the American Cancer Society, 207 E. Alpine Ave., Stockton 95204.
