Paul was a member of Peace Evangelical Lutheran Church and the Seniors Group of the church. He enjoyed writing, reading, and computers. He graduated from Mishawaka High School in 1968 and had a degree in writing from Indiana University at South Bend. Paul was the son of James J. HUYVAERT (1927-2002) and Patricia A. BAUGHMAN (1930-2007). He was survived by two daughters, two granddaughters, and two uncles. Paul was preceded in death by his parents and his brother, Robert.
