MRS. THOS. GRIZZELL, CLIFTON HILL, DIES;
FUNERAL SATURDAY
CLIFTON HILL, Feb 5 (Monitor-Index Special Service)---Mrs. Elizabeth Stamper Grizzell, 80, wife of Thomas Grizzell, died at the family home in Clifton Hill yesterday at about 5 o'clock yesterday afternoon. Mrs. Grizzell had been in failing health for some years and only a few days prior to her death suffered another stroke of paralysis.
She had been a member of the Baptist church since early years. She was born in Kentucky November 15, 1851.
At the age of 19 years she was married to Mr. Grizzell, who survives her. She is also survived by four children, Mrs. Albert Burton, Mrs. Robert Brockman, of Kansas City, and Mrs. Ray McAdams and Miss Sarah Grizzell of Fowler, Colo. Two children, J. W. of Salisbury and Hiram of he home, preceded Mrs. Grizzell in death.
The Stamper family consisted of ten children and Mrs. Sam Cobb of Clifton, a sister, is the remaining one.
Funeral services will be conducted Saturday at 2 o'clock from the Baptist Church in Clifton and burial will be in the city cemetery.
