Harmon Ghere, son of David Ghere, died on Monday morning at his home on the prairie near Prairie Center. He was a young man about nineteen years of age and fought the dreadful disease, typhoid fever, faithfully. He was so young that it seemed hard that he should be compelled to give up life, but such was ordained. The funeral occurred on Thursday at Prairie Center church. Another son of Mr. and Mrs. Ghere is sick with typhoid fever, and although he is now very bad, the sickness has not advanced far enough to tell just how severe the attack is.
