"MRS. GRACIE MAY COONES
WARSAW - - Mrs. Gracie May Coones, 56, died Wednesday at the University of Missouri Medical Center, Colombia.
Born near Brownington, Mo., July 12, 1914, she was the daughter of Wellington and Clara Jenks Mantonya.
On Jan. 7, 1942, she was married to Frank Coones, who survives of the home.
She was a member of the Finey Baptist Church.
Also surviving are two stepchildren, Mrs. Lois Howard, Warsaw; Ray Coones, Junction City, Kan.; two foster children, Mrs. Barbara Veach, Parkville, Mo.; Kenneth Mantonya, Warsaw; three brothers, Melvin Mantonya and Jeff Mantonya, Warsaw; and Sampson Mantonya, state of Nevada. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday at the Reser Funeral Chapel with the Rev. J. D. Little officiating. Burial will be in Finey Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 7 to 9 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.
