HOWLAND YOUTH DIES IN TRAFFIC MISHAP
LITTLE CURRENT - Two separate traffic mishaps in the Little Current area claimed one life and left four other people hospitalized over the weekend.
Dead is John Robert Eadie, 23, of Howland Township, who was a passenger in a car driven by his brother William Eadie. Spokesman for the Little Current OPP detachment told the Expositor the vehicle was heading east on Highway 540 when an attempt to pass another vehicle caused the driver to lose control of his car. The accident occurred June 5, six miles from Little Current.
Injured in the accident was James Robert Taylor, 18, of Honora who was also involved in another traffic accident last month when a pick-up truck he was driving went off the road and struck a hydro pole four miles west of Spring Bay.
