Mr. Ruffin was born March 5, 1888 in Alma, the son of Mr.& Mrs. Henry J. Ruffin.
He had lived in this area for 41 years. In 1956 he retired after 28 years with Hardwicke-Etter Co. His wife, the former Minnie Barron Ruffin died in 1955.
He is survived by a son, Claude Ruffin of Valley Jo, Calif,; a daughter, Kathleen Dedrick of Sherman; six grandchildren, three great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
