Alex's parents were August Xaver Bizefski and Rosalia Plinski. Rosalia died in 1906 and the younger children went to live with older, married sisters. Alex went to live with his sister Ottilia (Tillie) Bizefski Tanger. Alex never married and lived with Tillie until his death . One day when he was coming home from work, he stepped of the bus and was hit by a car. His leg was broken, which resulted in a blood clot, that killed him. He was only 47 when he died.
