John C. Eagleton, 78, of Noble died Dec. 7, 1990 at Springfield Memorial Hospital in Springfield, IL.
Mr. Eagleton was born January 12, 1912 in Noble to Harry & Laura Abbott Eagleton. He married Florence Hesler May 19, 1934 in Noble.
He was a farmer and an Illinois State Highway Department employee. He also operated the Noble Locker.
He was a member of the Glenwood Church & was also a Noble Township Committee manager on the Noble Township Board.
Mr. Eagleton is survived by his wife; sons, John Robert, James, and Gary. Also surviving is a daughter Mrs. Lee O. (Donna) Watkins.
He is survived by brothers Bernard, Robert, and Charles; a sister, Audrey Robinson.
Hosselton, Bookhout & Engelmeier Funeral Home in Noble were in charge of the funeral. Burial was in Hanna Cemetery.
