Betty Barrett retired from Graham National Bank in 1987 after almost 33 years of service. She began her banking career in the bookkeeping department on 16 August 1954. On 10 January 1961, Mrs. Barrett became an assistant cashier. In January of 1967, she assumed the responsibility of head teller where she served until May of 1985. For the past two years, she has been in charge of the safe deposit area of the bank.
At the time of her death according to the obituary, she was survived by her husband; one daughter - Betty Gale Willis; two grandchildren; two great-grandchildren.
