LYONS - Mrs. Eunice Dismuke Bryant, age 102 of Lyons, died Sunday, April 11, 2010 in the Meadows Nursing Center in Vidalia after an extended illness. She was a native of the New Branch Community and moved to Lyons in 1973. She was a homemaker, attended the Lyons Holiness Church, and was preceded in death by her husband, Ralph Franklin Bryant, her parents, Hayward and Ada Bell Holland Dismuke, and a son, Caroll Haden Bryant.
Mrs. Bryant is survived by two daughters, Sarah (Bill) Dickerson of Lyons; and Martha (George) Parker of Vidalia, four grandchildren, Debbie Lockley of Lyons; Sherry (Richard) Bland of Reidsville; Don (Ceci) Jordan of Reidsville; and Linda (Elvis) Anderson of Omaha, Nebraska, two sisters-in-law, Christine Finch of Lyons; and Evelyn Bryant of Lyons, three step-grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren, seven step-great-grandchildren, six great-great grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services were held Wednesday, April 14th at 11:00 am in the chapel of Ronald V. Hall Funeral Home with Reverend Henry Dowd officiating. Interment followed in the Lyons City Cemetery.
