Frances Armijo Age 90, lifelong resident of Santa Fe, passed away April 9, 2010. Frances was born February 22, 1920 in Santa Fe, the daughter of, Bernardo and Lorencita Apodaca. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Tuesday, April 13, 2010, at Santa Maria de la Paz Catholic Church. Interment will follow at Santa Fe National Cemetery. Her husband Manuel A. Armijo, age 92, of Santa Fe, passed away Tuesday, June 22, 2004. He was preceded in death by his parents, and his daughters Jenny and Patricia.
He married Frances Apodaca on November 4, 1940 in Mora, New Mexico.

Mr.Armijo was a member of the 200th Coast Artillery serving the Philippines, survived the Bataan Death March and was a POW in the Philippines for 3 1/2 years.
