Carson W. Chapman - age 56, Rt. 1, Russellville, passed away suddenly Friday afternoon at Morristown-Hamblen Hospital. He was of the Baptist faith. Veteran of WWII. Survivors: wife, Mrs. Willie Patterson Chapman, Russellville; daughters, Mrs. Gary (Mary Ann) Williford, Jefferson City, Mrs. George (Diane) Denton, Mrs. Lucille French both of Dandridge, Tina and Lisa Chapman, Russellville; son, Jimmy Chapman, Jefferson City; step-children, Karen, Debbie ad Treva Southerland, all of Russellville, Patricia Elmore, Newport; step-son, David Southerland, Russellville; sister, Beulah Bumgardner, Maryland. Funeral service 2 p.m. Monday, Farrar Funeral Home Chapel. Rev. Ruben Willson officiating. Interment Indian Ridge Cemetery, Grainger County. Family will receive friends 7-9 p.m. Sunday at Farrar Funeral Home, Dandridge.
