RAMSEY, EVELYN - age 82, passed away on Saturday morning, June 21, 2003, at her residence. She was a member of the Indian Ridge Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her loving husband, James Lavator Ramsey and two grandchildren, Scotty Ramsey and Doug Morgan. She is survived by her children and their spouses, Amos and Joyce Ramsey of Jefferson City, Bobby and Lorene Ramsey of Athens, Josie Cameron of Central Point, Steve Ramsey of Clinton, David Ramsey and special friend, Terry Hayworth, Margaret and Joe Hayworth, Larry and Penny Ramsey, Billy and Janice Ramsey, Darlene and James Perry, all of Blaine, Tenn.; 28 grandchildren; 48 great-grandchildren; two great-great grandchildren, numerous friends, and will be greatly missed by her beloved pet Toby. Funeral services will be on Monday night, June 23, 2003, at 8 p.m., Rev. Vaughn Woody and Rev. Lawrence Ford will be officiating. Burial will be on Tuesday, June 24, 2003, at 2 p.m. The family will receive friends on Monday night, June 23, 2003, at Smith Funeral Home from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Smith Funeral Home, in Rutledge, in charge of arrangements for Evelyn Ramsey.
