Baldwin County newspaper: Union Recorder, August 24, 1920

Miss Carrie Bell Gladin, of this city and Mr. William M. Harrell were united in marriage Tuesday evening at half-past eight o'clock at the home of the bride's sister, Mrs. Eula Stanley. The parlor was tastily decorated, and the ceremony was impressively performed by Dr. J. C. Wilkinson in the presence of a few relatives and friends. The bride is a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. S. G. W. Gladin and possesses a most pleasing personality, which has won for her the love and esteem of all who know her. Mr. Harrell holds a splendid position with the First National Bank of Pelham, and is held in confidence by the people of his home town. Immediately after the ceremony Mr. and Mrs. Harrell left for a trip to the mountains. They will be at home at Pelham.
