Full name: Christian Lovelady Harbour McDaniel McIver

Born to John Wesley Harbour (1806-1864 in Civil War in MS) of Georgia & Mary "Polly" Lovelady Harbour (1811-1882 in Sunset, Montague County, TX) of Tennessee. Christian was named for her maternal grandmother, Christian Mahan Lovelady (c. 1780-1842 in Noxubee County, MS), who died the year her namesake was born.

Christian married 1) Morris McDaniel (1836-1864) in 1859 in Mississippi. He died in a hospital in Forsyth, GA, the result of a Civil War battle injury. One daughter, Hettie McDaniel Henderson (1861-1911).

In 1868, Christian and her mother, Polly Harbour, both widows, left Mississippi for Texas, accompanied by several of Christian's siblings. They first settled in Dallas County. About 1870, they moved to Cooke or Montague County, TX, where Christian met William Wood McIver. Christian's sister, Mary Ann Harbour Ford (1837-1914), is at Memorial# 107779628. Her brother, Obed Wesley Harbour (1840-1918), is at Memorial# 83742972. Another brother, John Wesley Harbour, Jr. (1848-1932), is at Memorial# 67824587. A third brother, Thomas Jefferson Harbour (1855-1933), is at Memorial# 10387736.

Christian married 2) William Wood McIver (1845-1936) on July 17, 1873, in Cooke County, Texas. She was his third wife.

Christian died in Sept. 1891 at age 49, leaving five minor children. William McIver married Fannie Ford on Dec. 11, 1891, in Anderson County, TX, per Fannie's Confederate widow's pension application.
