Paul C. Smith, 94, of Bradford was a son of the late Charles A. and Geneve Jefferson Smith. He attended schools in Ridgway. On September 27, 1941, in Kersey he married Helen E. (Sennett) Smith who survives. On March 15, 1943 he enlisted in the US ARMY and served until he was honorably discharged a Sgt. on February 9, 1946. He was formerly employed at US Leather Company in Ridgway, later KOA Speer, and prior to his retirement he was a Highway Contractor for the United States Postal Service, retiring after 25 years of service. He was a member of St. Bernard Church, and the Bradford Township Lions Club. He is also survived by three daughters: Karen (Art) Brennan, Eileen (Jim) Tempero and Annette (Steve) Hanke, three sons: Gary R. Smith, Roger Smith, and Rodney (Leslie) Smith, two sisters: Elizabeth Shaffer, and Grace Lineman, 10 Grandchildren, 5 great grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, one brother Edwin Smith and one sister Jean Billick. Burial and Military Honors will be accorded in St. Bernard Cemetery.
