Viola Mae Gustin, 90, died Saturday, Dec. 9, 2006, at Golden Age Life Center, Wakefield.
Mrs. Gustin was born Dec. 29, 1915, at Industry, the daughter of Jim and Bertha (Elssaser) McNeal.
She married Leo F. Gustin on June 12, 1935. He preceded her in death on May 1, 2000. They farmed in the Wakefield area. She was a cook at Ft. Riley and then at the Lakeview Restaurant in Wakefield. She was a member of the United Methodist Church, Crescent Rebekah Lodge #248 and the
Neighborhood Club, all of Wakefield. She was also preceded in death by one brother and two sisters.
Survivors include one daughter, Marilyn Mason and husband Jay of Wakefield; one son, Fred Gustin and wife Carla of Salina; five grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren.
A funeral service will be held at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at the United Methodist Church in Wakefield with the Rev. Diana Stewart officiating. Burial will be in Highland Cemetery, Wakefield.
Friends may call from 5 to 7:30 p.m. at the Wakefield Funeral Home.
Memorials may be made to the Wakefield United Methodist Church or Crescent Rebekah Lodge #248.

Mrs. Gustin was born Viola Mae McNeal on Dec. 29, 1915, in Industry.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Leo F., in 2000.
Survivors include a daughter, Marilyn Mason of Wakefield; a son, Fred of Salina; five grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren.
