May be connected to the Ouachita parish Landrums. There was a Dicie Lucinda Neatherlin who married a John Landrum there. Online Ancestry.com trees state she was the daughter of Thomas S. and Sarah Ann Crosby Landrum. According to findagrave user JB Williams & T Slaydon Williams, Dicie's mother, three siblings (one her twin sister Rebecca ) and an uncle died in the 1864 smallpox epidemic in New Orleans. Her father remarried and is buried in Sibley Cemetery, Florien, LA. Dicie's sister, Mell Vina (or Melvina) Landrum married William H. Clark and is also buried in Pine Grove. (Melvina's obituary states that she died at the home of her sister, Mrs. W.G. Edwards.) Dicie married William Green Edwards in Catahoula Parish July 13, 1876. She was the mother of 13 children according to the 1910 Catahoula Parish census. Eleven of them were: Oliver A., William Thomas, John Marion, Laura M., Milvena, Emet, Robert Lee, Salley S., Albert Jefferson, Henry W. and Eugene "Genie" Edwards.
The Louisiana State Death Certificate Index states she died on the 27th, which conflicts with the headstone date of the 25th. The obituary below confirms the death certificate date (Friday being on the 27th). The death certificate also states she was born in Mobile, AL and her father's name was Joe Landrum.
