He was a Revolutionary War soldier. The DAR chapter in Adel, Georgia is the Levi Sapp Chapter.

He served as Pvt. Continental Line, Revolutionary War

He participated in 1827 Land Lottery in Georgia. He drew lot #46 in the 15th Dist., 1st Sec. of Lee County, Ga. He did not take the awarded land and it was sold to someone else. The Burke County Grant of 1804 gave him 400 acres.

The 1832 Cherokee County Gold Lottery gave him lot #267 in the 19th Dist., 2nd Sec. of Cherokee County.

In 1834 he received an additional 400 acres through the Tattnall County Grant of 1834. He also received 400 acres in 1837 and another 400 acres in Burke county in 1846.
