Mrs. Lyda M. Bowser, 81 of Kittanning MR 10, East Brady Road died Thursday afternoon (April 15, 1965) in Armstrong County Memorial Hospital. She was born Oct. 31, 1833 in Washington Township, the daughter of Solomon and Minnie Bowser. Mrs. Bowser was a member of the Montgomeryville Baptist, Church. Surviving are her husband, Andrew W. Bowser; four sons, Wilbert Bowser of Worthington, Stanley S. Bowser of Kittanning MR 10, East Brady Road, Herman Bowser of Pittsburgh and Kenneth A. Bowser of McGrann; one brother, Mathias Bowser of Adrian; one sister, Ella of Kittanning; nine grandchildren and 15 great-grand-children. BOWSER — Friends of Mrs. Lyda M. Bowser of Kittanning MR. 10, East Brady Road, who died Thursday afternoon (April 15, 1965), will be received in the F. Duane Snyder Funeral Home, Kittanning from 7 to 9 p.m. Friday and 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Saturday. The service will be at 2:30 p.m. Sunday in the funeral home with Rev. James R. Hamilton, her pastor from Montgomeryville Baptist Church, officiating. Burial will follow in Montgomeryville Baptist Cemetery. Arrangements by Snyder, Kittanning.
